Responsibilities
The Division of Acute Care Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital is seeking a faculty member to join our practice. As the new Division Head of Acute Care Surgery and Director of Trauma, Amy Sisley, M.D., is looking for board certified/eligible, fellowship trained surgical critical care or trauma faculty to join the 8 member group that staffs Henry Ford Hospital's program.
The Division supports Henry Ford's ACS verified Level I Trauma Center, as well as the hospital's surgical critical care and emergency general surgery needs. Staff take four paid calls per month, are expected to teach medical students and residents as part of their clinical commitment and have one week per month of administrative time. Participation as instructors in ATLS, ATOM and ASSET is expected. Research opportunities are available. Full academic faculty appointments at the Wayne State University School of Medicine are available commensurate with experience

Qualifications
