Responsibilities

This is a new full-time academic position available for a board eligible/certified neurologist to join a growing practice at the Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital - the newest hospital in the Henry Ford Health System - 2011 Baldridge Award Winner! You will participate in a busy clinical practice and inpatient rounding with residents.

You'd be a member a one of the largest academic group practices in the country and share call (4-12 weeks a year), participate in teaching of residents and medical students. Eligible staff may apply for academic appointment at nearby Wayne State University.

Qualifications

Physician applicants must have graduated from a medical school program accredited by: (1) the Liaison Committee on Medical Education which is sponsored by the American Medical Association and the Association of American Medical Colleges, or (2) the Canadian Medical Association; or a College of Osteopathic Medicine approved by the American Osteopathic Association; or have successfully passed the ECFMG or equivalent qualifying examination.

The applicant must have completed an ACGME or AOA approved Neurology residency program, and be Board eligible or certified in his/her specialty.
