Role Overview

As a Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality and compassionate patient care. You will support providers and nursing leadership by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, contributing directly to the patient experience and the efficiency of our healthcare services.

What You Will Do

• Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience.
• Obtain and record accurate medical histories to support patient care.
• Measure and document vital signs, contributing to comprehensive patient assessments.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring readiness and comfort.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures, facilitating efficient and effective care.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description.
• Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
• EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
• Phlebotomy experience
