As a Patient Registration Rep, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. You¿ll handle patient registration, insurance eligibility verification, and cash collections, while advocating for patient needs and providing outstanding customer service. Your role is vital in creating a positive and efficient healthcare experience for all.

What You Will Do

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect payments accurately and efficiently.
• Update patient registration and insurance information in our systems.
• Respond to inquiries from callers and customers, advocating for their needs.
• Perform new patient registration and preregistration tasks as needed.
• Maintain a fast-paced, organized workflow in a dynamic environment.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service over the phone, in person, and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in patient admitting, registration, and/or insurance eligibility verification in a hospital or medical office setting.
• EPIC training/experience and familiarity with insurance payor systems and ICD-10 medical terminology.
