Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while effectively communicating with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Your role is essential in ensuring patient goals are met and solutions are implemented when variances occur.

What You Will Do

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and their families.
• Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.

1 Year ICU or Stepdown RN Experience required, ACLS/BLS. TCAR preferred
