Meet Adam Sinistaj, our incredible Emergency Department leader at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital!
Adam started his journey with Henry Ford Health 11 years ago as a patient transporter while
pursuing his nursing degree. From those early days, he knew this was more than just a workplace—
it was a community.
After graduating, he became a RN in the Medical ICU, where he began to
develop not only as a nurse but also as a leader. Over the years, Adam has embraced new
challenges: serving as an Assistant Clinical Manager for the ICUs, earning his Master’s in Nursing
Administration, and managing units like Medical Oncology and Hospice. He’s been overseeing the
Emergency Department since April of 2024.
In every role, his mission has been clear: improving the quality of care for patients and creating a
supportive environment for our amazing teams. Whether it’s recruiting and mentoring new talent,
collaborating across disciplines to enhance patient outcomes, or promoting work-life balance for
staff, Adam is driven by a passion for making a difference.
What excites Adam most about Henry Ford Health? The people. From our dedicated teams to the
patients we serve, this community is filled with kindness, collaboration, and shared purpose. He
grew up here, and he shared that it’s an honor to give back to the community that shaped him.

A fun fact about Adam - His parents immigrated to the U.S. from Albania with big dreams for his
family, and Adams strives every day to make them proud. Outside of work, he loves traveling,
exploring new cuisines, biking, and spending time with his amazing nieces and nephew.
